Hi there! I'm Lacey Woodroof, a consultant and web designer based in Birmingham, Alabama. With a focus on helping values-based brands thrive, my experience includes website design, ecommerce consulting, creative direction, brand strategy, and business development.

After receiving my Bachelor's degree in Spanish and International Trade, I spent seven years in finance— a career that sparked a lot of introspection and an interest in responsible entrepreneurship. So, in 2016, I launched my first business— social justice-centered slow fashion web shop + pop up, basic.; and in 2018, we expanded into a shared brick + mortar storefront with our good friends at Honeycreeper Chocolate.

While I'm still at the helm of basic., I've also worked with dozens of businesses to share the knowledge I've gained along the way.

I believe in progress, a woman's right to choose, that Black lives matter, and love always wins; and my very favorite things are my pup and my people.
